I have officially been in my new office for three months already… Crazy how time flies… I am still looking for one final bookshelf and I will be done with my viewing room. I just havent found one I like yet… I did order some new prints to put up. I have more wall space here than my last office. I ordered 1-25X40, 2-20X30′s and 1 16X30, they are all gallery wrapped… I don’t have any gallery wraps on display os this will be nice to add to the product list.

This shot is one from a series i have been working on over the years… I like to shoot details like thi sin cheesy gift shops… I want to have a showing of them when I get 20 salable ones… I have about 12 now… This will hang in the production room… 16X30, it will give me inspiration to shoot some personal stuff every now and then…

I just shot this shot about a month ago… Vanessa and David are an awesome couple, they were all about having fun on there wedding day. I actually pre-visualized this shot, my instructors in school would be so proud. The old dude was just an added bonus… The trading post is actually about 4 buildings down from where my office sits. When a bride is coming to the office they will be staring at this building as they sit at the final stop light…

This was a great engagement session. we decided on Heisler park in Laguna Beach… I hadnt been by there for a few months and when we got there the park was under construction. We managed to steal a few shots on some of the walkways and down on the beach as well. This one was my fav and they just loved the shot as well. The Fun Zone, Newport Beach… Any kid that grew up in South Orange County was just drawn to this place, I have so many memories of hanging out there. Harvey of Tarango Studios used to live down there while I was growing up… His son Ian and I have been friends since 1st grade… We used to spend 2 and 3 weeks there at a time… Was so much fun… Any ways Charise and Chris were married down on the peninsula so I thought it would be awesome to get some shots of them playing skeeball… This one ended up being my favorite, It looks awesome, 20X30 stretched canvas…

This was a couple fun shots i shot of the IT department for this medical company i was shooting for today, I wont bore you with the four VP shots I did that turned into 6 by the end of the shoot. But here is a fun shot of the IT group… This was shot in the IT closet… They wanted to show what they have to work out of… I used one light with a 10″ reflector bounced off the ceiling and corner of the room… Had no room for any softboxes or any thing… Kind of brought back the memories of shooting in basements while in school… PEACE

Kristen and Ryan came in from Arizona for there engagement session. They are a very fun couple and are getting married in January. They chose to there session at the San Clemente Police station memorial rose garden, i usually don’t volunteer to hang out at the police station… This was special to Kristen because her family had dedicated a bench in the park to her Grand Mother who volunteered with the SCPD and The Orange County Sheriffs office when they took over. Have a happy Halloween!!!

Janet and her daughter Sarah were a lot of fun to photograph. We decided to shoot at Lake Rancho Santa Margarita. It is one of those little hidden wonders… Every turn has a great backdrop and a lot to work with. Enjoy the slideshow… PEACE

Always chasing the light, well I am always looking for a website that might help me out on making sure we have enough light… I finally found a pretty reliable site click here, It has been pretty reliable for me… It is also impressive to research your clients day before they come by the studio. What a great wedding we had with David and Vanessa. They decided to get married at The El Adobe restaurant, in San Juan Capistrano. Happens to be about three doors down form my office. We met 2.5 hours before the ceremony to get all the portraits done. It was great. We did a nice casual walk through downtown and got some amazing images. This was another The OC Wedding Pros wedding. I got the lead from a referral and I sent them to The website and they found Todd. It is great having a resource likeThe OC Wedding Pros to send my clients to help them find dependable and professional wedding professionals.

While shooting in front of this pink Door, I noticed a bitchin sign, and thought I better refocus for a second!!!

What a class act the Ritz Carlton is… I shot a wedding there on Saturday. The coolest couple, They came in from Chicago to get married. They had a small 50 person wedding. The cool thing is, the coordinator found out they were staying in one of there hotels over in Maui. for a surprise we emailed these images over o the manager over there and they are printing them out and putting them in frames so when they check in to there room they will have a nice little surprise.
