Today was a hectic day… Starting at 10 am I had a family portrait at the beach, 11:30 I shot the first part of a catalog for a new shirt company, 2:00 and 3:00 I had additional family portraits… Everything worked out perfect. Just got a letter from the Mission San Juan Capistrano. It is about there new reservation policy for photographers. I signed up for the Photography membership. With the photography membership you do not need reservations to shoot in the mission. You still have to pay the $50.00 entry fee but no hassle of remembering to get the reservation, no lost reservations either!!! PEACE

Deadlines. That is all I hear about right now from the album companies, the lab, Pictage and the card printers. With Thanksgiving being so late this year, I have a feeling it is going to be a crazy first week of December with all the people trying to squeeze in there holiday portraits.

My openings are as follows:
This week-end:
Mid week sessions are available on a first come first serve basis please call for availability: 949-481-0595
Saturday: Family Portraits in the morning, wedding in the afternoon no time slots available
Sunday 23rd: I have one time slot available for 2:00 in the afternoon. Must be in Laguna Beach or South
following Thursday: Thanksgiving
Friday: I have time slots in the AM and am available in the afternoon for a shoot at 1:00, all other time slots are full
Saturday 29th: Big wedding no times available
Sunday 30th: 10:00 time slot and one late afternoon time slot available
I wont even get into December. Between today and the 23rd, I have 8 family portraits, a head shot and a wedding… I can’t wait to get editing on all of this… Take care and I will see you after New Years!!!

I am currently on a little trip to the Sierras… Today we fished all day… Lots of hiking as well. Awesome venue, you can never go wrong shooting here. There is always good lighting any time of day, closes at 5:00 every day, must have reservation and there is a $50.00 shooting fee, payed to the Mission.

This is a public park setting followed by the beach at sunset. Best time is late afternoon, any day but Saturday. Supposed to have a permit but I have never been harassed, knock on wood…

I had not bought a new card reader since the purchase of my D100 way back when I had my G3, mac… Needless to say, last month it finally took a crap on me… I can’t believe how fast this card reader tranfers data… the other one was an original Lexar cf card reader, firewire. The new one is a Delkin like 50 in 1, not really but you get the drift… This one is like 50X’s faster. I love it… Any ways Thats all… Downloading todays wedding and charging for tomorrows… PEACE

This is a shot I just came across while editing some wedding photos from last month… We had the pleasure of shooting Jason and Keri’s wedding… They had a horse drawn carriage… I told the lady she needs to invest in an old replica shotgun or maybe like colt 45 rifle… I wouuld love to one of those myself, any ways just a fun photo of me riding… The slideshow should be up this afternoon… PEACE
