STUDIO MOVE UPDATE
Well today I finally moved everything out of the old studio. Then I cleaned my office area and the shooting room area that I stored my gear in. It is amazing how much gear it takes to shoot all that I shoot. I don’t even have my large or medium format gear any more. Some day i will explain that… I did get most of the stuff unpacked and starting to get it organized. I will probably put some paint on the walls in the viewing room. Just havent come up with a nice color, thinking of a green or maybe a tan… Any ways also picked up the first of my two signs today. this is the small one that goes on the front of the building at ground level, The other sign will be placed on the side of the building with great visibility from the street. PEACE

Congrat’s on the new move and new office! I hope your new location works out well for your clients and for your commute!
As far as colors go for your interior waiting area and viewing area, my old studio I had a warm gold and bronze rag painted walls by an painting artist with deep dark burgandy plush carpeting, When my ceiling track lighting was put in and all the 30×40′s were on the walls it all came together and looked like a million bucks!
My shooting room was all white walls, then I had the ceiling air sprayed all flat black. All photographic lighting was attached to the walls with Bogen swing out arms, so I could have them go up, down or left or right and NO stands anywhere for anyone to trip over cables etc.
@Borelfoto - Thanks for the comment. That is the hardest thing to figure out. Which color, I was going to leave it white, but after I got everything in there and put up the color corrected lights, the walls werent as white as I thought… So today I am going to get some samples and do a little painting… I actually gave up my studio space, i just hardly ever used it, most my commercial stuff is shot on location now. I have enough room to shoot head shots though… Take care… PEACE
