Well It’s Saturday and I am preparing for back to back weddings. Of course it is one of the hottest muggiest weekends of the year. Today I am shooting at The Pavillion on Balboa Island and Sunday in Long Beach. I have to leave an extra hour early just to make sure I make it to these locations on time. I cant wait for my day off on Monday. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. PEACE

I was reading the sports today and came across this article, Click Here , It’s aboput a 9 year old boy trying to play baseball. The league said he was too good so they told his coach he couldnt pitch any more… What are parents coming to these days… I couldnt imagine telling a 9 year old that he is too good to play little league… What do you guys think of the reaction of the league… PEACE

Shot this engagement session down in Balboa park last week. Had a lot of fun.

The part of the building that i am in has a couple of hall ways. i have talked to the landlord about putting up a few signs to point people in the right direction. Here are a few of my samples… Let me know what you think.

This will be the first one they will see. the shot was taken at the Mission which is 1/4 mile from where i am.

This will be the second one they see when they find the final hallway that i am located on.

This will be the sign located outside of my door.

I will be having Millers Lab print on Metallic paper and have them mounted on Gator board and then i will mount them on the wall in the halls.

Moving into The Provincial Building has been fun. The phone guy showed up and the phone room is in the Bridal suite inside Franciscans Gardens area, the problem was that they werent open at the time the AT&T guy showed up. Luckily he was nice enough to go door to door until he found someone who happened to have a key for the room. After all that we got the phones working…

Well today I finally moved everything out of the old studio. Then I cleaned my office area and the shooting room area that I stored my gear in. It is amazing how much gear it takes to shoot all that I shoot. I don’t even have my large or medium format gear any more. Some day i will explain that… I did get most of the stuff unpacked and starting to get it organized. I will probably put some paint on the walls in the viewing room. Just havent come up with a nice color, thinking of a green or maybe a tan… Any ways also picked up the first of my two signs today. this is the small one that goes on the front of the building at ground level, The other sign will be placed on the side of the building with great visibility from the street. PEACE

It was nice having most the weekend off. i had no actual photoshoots. Saturday we went over and had a barbq with my oldest son’s good friend. Sunday I convinced my brother to bring his van over to my old studio and load it up with desks, tables and cabinets and deliver it to the new studio location. Carried a solid oak desk up one large flight of stairs, kicked our butts…
My IPhone decided to take a crap on me so I spent a couple of hours at the apple store, I love that place wish i had more money… Well my phone went completely black and would not start bak up or charge. They couldnt figure out what the problem is. So lucky me, they replaced my first generation for the 3G… What a bummer… I love how apple stands by there product. Hope everyone had a great weekend… PEACE

I love this place. I have shot a few engagement sessions in Heisler Park. I just love the fact that there is a lot of different places to shoot. We spent almost 1.5 hours on this session and it flew by. I know everyone wants to shoot at the Montage but thats the problem there are always 5 or 6 others if the tides are right. Any ways here is a slideshow of Maureen and Armin. They were so much fun are way in love. I really enjoyed shooting them…

I forgot to bring my sandals today and shot on the beach in my shoes, they are soaked hopefully dry out soon
