My family does an annual trip to Bridgeport, CA… It is an awesome little town in the Eastern Sierras. I have been going there since i was about 6 years old… This was my Aidens 2nd trip and he is 3… This year we had 17 people in our 2 camp sites. Including my dads best friend who he went to High School with and served a tour in Viet Nam with… He is an awesome guy and lives in Wolfcreek, Oregan… He will turn 60 in 2009 and is planning on having a 40th anniversary of the summer of love for his b-day, he has 17 acres and is planning on having bands play all weekend, he says clothing optional… He’s on his own trip so back to my trip… While camping Aiden caught his first trout and then on the next cast his second… he was excited… My dad has those shots on his camera, he is still there for another week… We visited Bodie for the first time and Aiden hasnt quit talking about it… Hayes, my 1 year old, walked the entire town he was exhausted that night… Bodie is at about 9600 feet elevation so you get tired very easy there… here are osme images of the trip… I didnt shoot alot because I was there with both kids and my wife stayed home for the week…

soooo jealous about the VIP access you are gonna get in your workshop….that’s gonna be amazing! love the pics of the boys in the grass. glad you had a fun trip. i don’t think i’m going to get the chance to post my bodie pics before i leave for hawaii next week. i’ll tell you a little secret though…if you really want to see them you can go to my myspace page and click on my profile pic which takes you to my albums where you can find them. they aren’t anything spectacular so don’t expect to be wowed too much. =) have a fabulous weekend and a great time in bodie next week…i’ll be in hawaii baby!!! yay!!!!
I think I might have to visit there. My wife and the family are coming out there to have a certain OC photographer to take our family photos, so we are going to make a trip out there and CA and make alot of different stops. Cool photos.
Cool ghost town. That would be a neat place for a workshop.
