Finding a new location, After shooting god only knows, how many engagements at the beach I am finally bored with it. I am always trying new location around here. Well this is downtown San Juan Capistrano… They have some amazing places around town. I always liked seeing Kenneths shots from downtown SLO… so I thought why not SJC… This weekend is The Swallows day parade in SJC… The largest Non-Motorized parade in America… I will try to be sober enough before the parade to take some shots… Photos…The parade starts at 11:00

Very nice. I know you get sick of the beach but I tell you, I would swap all the corn fields in Indiana for a beach when I shoot a wedding. There is just something about the ocean that captures eternity.
Great locations! It’s nice to get a change of scenery every once in awhile although there is also something “safe” about the familiar too. These are great images. “Old barn” is my favorite.
On an unrelated note: my trip to Bodie has been changed a bit. I’ll be there either on Fri. July 13th or Sat. July 14th instead of the end of the month. It would have been fun to shoot there with you. If something changes again I’ll let you know but I don’t think it will. Reservations in Mammoth are already made.
I like the old barn and the brick wall. Maybe it’s the leaning I like.
