Slow Computers
I had forgotten how slow my old laptop was until my power supply in my G5 went out yesterday… I came in after the weekend… and my G5 would fire up then just start going crazy… Took it to apple right away, it is still under waranty… He ran some tests on it and determinded it was the power supply. I hope that is all it is… Should be back with in 7 days, sooner if they have the part on prmises… Any ways I have an old Powerbook that tried to commit suicide by jumping out of my truck one day, slid off the seat when I opened the door to get it out… The monitor quit working but everything else works, thankfully… I just plug it into my 23″apple display… BTW this monitor kicks ass… Wish I could have gotten the 30″ But the $2000.00 price tag kept me with this one… Hope you all have a nice day…

Your G5 and I were both feeling a bit under-powered!!! LOL I’m feeling much better today…hopefully your machine will make a speedy recovery too!!
I could say something about that is what you get for using a crapintosh but I won’t. Oh wait…..
Just kidding. I design our church newsletter on a g5 powerbook and we have gone through two powersupplies in 2 months. I wish they would just recall them for retairs and fix the probelm for good before they return them to us.
